The Ask: Create a fully integrated brand image, personality, and content for an imaginary company.

The Who: Adventurous coffee lovers that think they have a superior taste and could stand to be taken down a peg. They love to experience new coffee shops in the city and can take it as well as we dish it.

The Idea

BRU•TAL is so much more than a coffee shop. We offer something that none of our competitors can't; a taste of reality.

We serve it like it is because we're sick of fake smiles and sickly sweet enthusiasm.

We also think that there are a lot of silly coffee drinks that slip through the cracks. We're on a mission to call them out.

It is our belief that whipped cream doesn't belong on everything (even though it is good on some things)

So we promise to serve you spitefully and authentically, but always in good fun ;)
